Calling all Adventurers! New players and seasoned veterans (15 years and older) are invited to join our quest as we explore the expansive realms of Dungeons & Dragons: from the city streets of Waterdeep to the Underdark of the Drows, from the Feywild to the Astral Plane and many other locations. Each session is limited to 7 people. Sessions are designed so party members can attend as they are able and new people can join. The Party departs the 4th Saturday of each month at 10 am! If you need help creating a character or leveling up your character, come by early to get set up. The DM will be available to help starting at 9 am. Family LEGO club is held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month; join us as we build and create our special mission for the day. Register for each session individually, mark your calendars and plan to attend. June 8 & 22; July 13 & 27: August 10 & 24. We will build from 11 a.m until Noon. For ages 5 and up, limited to 15 per session, and will be held in the Youth Services area.

Time to play and socialize with friends follows each session. This program is designed especially for ages newborn-17 months with a caregiver. Siblings must be supervised for babies' safety. Join us to decorate cupcakes with a local baker. Discover useful decorating techniques and use your creativity to decorate cupcakes according to the Adventure theme. Each participant will decorate 2+ cupcakes: one cupcake will be entered into the contest and put on display at the Library! Community voting will determine the contest winners. The other cupcakes you can take home to enjoy. Please plan to wear clothing that can get messy. NOTE: Cupcakes will be baked ahead of time. Please be aware that food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, or peanuts. Join Ms. Beverly in reading about the crazy summer adventures of four sisters and their bestie Jeffrey. We'll read three of the books in this hilarious series by Jeanne Birdsall. Penderwicks Book Club meets 1:30 to 2:30 on select Thursdays, in the youth services department of the Library. This is a drop-off program for tweens and teens, ages 10 to 18. Participants will receive free copies of books 1, 3, and 5 in the series. When we meet, we'll discuss one book, read part of the next book together, and enjoy games or other activities. Please register once, but plan to attend all four sessions. Limit 10 participants.

The program is firmly music based, however other elements such as sign language, movement, foreign languages, and dramatic storytelling are often incorporated. Now offering two different age groups! 9:50am for babies 6-23 months, and 10:30am for preschoolers 2-5 years. Please register in advance to attend. This registration is for the Baby Musik Time, ages 6 months - 23 months. Limit 15 baby/caregiver pairs. Meets in the 2nd floor Turret Room.
