Join us for upcoming events, classes and programs at Bradley Public Library! All events are open to the public and are free (unless noted). Registration required where noted.

Santa Visits the lib
Saturday, Dec. 4, 10 am - 2 pm
Santa is coming to town! He will be stopping by for a visit at one of his favorite places, the library! Bradley Public Library will have storytimes throughout the day, a special treat to take home, and pictures with Santa. Registration is not required. Santa will be here from 10am -2 pm. Sponsored by Friends of the Bradley Public Library .
Teen Subscription Bo
Monday, Dec. 6
Teens get a subscription box made specificallly for you! Just answer a few questions then pick up your box during the first week of the month. Take home your box and check out the book and loot. Read you book, keep your loot, then return the box and book back to the library.  Please sign-up once for this three month subscription. 
This program is for 8th graders- Seniors in High School.
Tween Subscription B
Monday, Dec. 6, Pick up is the first week of the month
Tweens get a subscription box made specificallly for you! Just answer a few questions then pick up your box during the first week of the month. Take home your box and check out the book and loot. Read you book, keep your loot, then return the box and book back to the library.  Please sign-up once for this three month subscription.

Around the World
Monday, Dec. 6, 4:30 pm
Grades: Kindergarten to 4th grade
First Monday of the month at 4:30 pm
Take a trip to a new place every month! Join us in exploring different countries with language, art, music, and books!
Meets in person for 1 hour.
The Unnamed Teen Boo
Monday, Dec. 6, 6pm
Come join Ms. Sarah for a fun, laid back, no pressure book club just for TEENS! Come discuss the month's book and hang out with other teens.
Lasts approximately 1 hour.

PJ Storytime
Monday, Dec. 6, 7 pm
Grab a blanket, put on your PJs, have a glass of hot cocoa and meet with us over YouTube where we’ll read some bedtime stories!
Lasts approximately 20 minutes.

Field Trip Storytime

Ages birth to 5 years old
First Tuesday of the month at 10am. (October's is moved to Friday October 8th!)
Enjoy a storytime at a new place every month to explore our community!

Adventure Storytime

Every Tuesday (excluding the first) at  10:30 am

During our adventure time, we will explore the world through stories, songs, and engaging in fun activities! We’ll meet outside (weather permitting) for an outdoor storytime where it will be geared towards our friends who are toddler - 5 years old.

Join us for a fun night of painting! We will be painting a classic holiday truck. Join us in the library for on hand instructions.

Join Jodie each month to discuss a new book and broaden your literary horizons! Enjoy a variety of novels, along with an occasional nonfiction or young adult read! With every book comes a set of questions to help you consider the plot, the characters, and the discussion you’ll have at each meeting!
Shimmy & Shake

Music and movement fun for everyone! Enjoy this active way to develop early literacy skills while exploring music, dancing, and singing!

Teen Tech
Wednesday, Dec. 8, 6 pm (Wednesdays, November 17, December 1 , 8, 15 6 p.m.)
Explore and use new technologies, and even create your own business! Teen Tech will teach you about photography, editing, animation, 3D printing, and even more! Sign up for all the sessions or just a few!

Messy Art

It’s not always about what you make, but what you learn along the way! Join us for fun process art that encourages creativity, confidence, and experimentation.

Holiday Sewing!
Thursday, Dec. 9, 4pm
Get ready for your holiday prep and make an apron! You will need to bring a yard of cotton (no stretch) fabric, and a roll of ribbon of your choice. Sewing 101 is a pre-requisite. If you have sewing experience but have not taken our sewing 101 class, please email staff to assess if you are ready to take this class.

DIY Holiday Tags
Thursday, Dec. 9, 6:00 p.m.
Come and create your own holiday gift tags! You will be using watercolors, stencils, and stamps for a fun craft that anyone can do!
Join us and surprise your family and friends with a handmade tag that is sure to bring joy!
 
Strings Concert

Imagine being invited to a private concert, discovering it is in a library, sitting with books surrounding you, and not having to pay a cent.

Kids Yoga
