Planning AHEAD is a 7-session course (one hour each) that guides participants through topics such as handling financial changes, advance medical and legal directives, estate planning, final wishes, and more. This program is for people who are interested in planning to make things easier for family members, have lost a loved one, or are in the process of losing a loved one and are dealing with the transition. The UW-Extension of Racine County hosts this workshop at Waterford Public Library.

Alphabet Lab On-the-

Sign up for an independent exploration of the alphabet! This take-home program is geared for children 2 1/2 to 4 years-old. Each week, participants will receive a bag to checkout containing a letter of-the-week worksheet, supportive parental information, and a library book relating to the weekly letter. Go-bag pickup will be on Fridays during library hours. Take home the materials to work on throughout the week and return your bag by the following Friday for a new one. Registration is required

Join us for an in-person exploration of the alphabet! This program is geared for children 2 1/2 to 4 years-old with an adult. Each week we will study one letter and learn how to sign it in American Sign Language, play and move using letter sounds, and more! Children will leave with a practice packet to work on recognizing each letter. THIS CLASS IS CURRENTLY FULL.

Stuffed Animal Hospi

Do you have a stuffed animal friend in need of some care?
Our Loose Ends Animal Hospital is here to help!  Bring in your stuffed animal friend to the Community Room anytime between 10 am and noon, and the Loose Ends Sewing Group “nurses” will perform some of the following services:

¨ “Stitches”

¨ Healthy Check-up

¨ Simple Eyes or Nose “mending”

¨ “Boo-Boo” bandaging

While the “patient” is being cared for, go on a scavenger hunt to find all 8 colorful teddy bear pictures! 
Pick up your stuffed animal friend, a certificate of health and a lollipop when the checkup is complete! Geared for
ages 6 & under.
