Musicals Rock! Les M
Marshalltown Public Library
Monday, Aug. 27, 2:00PM
The fourth film in the library’s Musicals Rock! film series will be shown on Monday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the library’s community meeting rooms. The film for August  is Les Miserables (2012).  The adult summer reading program theme this year is Libraries Rock!, so we thought muscial films were a good way to fit into the the theme.

This film is a 1940 biographical film starring Alice Faye, Don Ameche, and Henry Fonda about the famous singer and actress Lillian Russell.
Join our film critic, Tom LaVille, for a great discussion after the movie, as well as free popcorn and lemonade. This event is free and open to the public, aged 18 and over. For more information, or for the title of the film, please call the library’s Information Desk at 641-754-5738 ext. 4.
This event is sponsored by Friends of the Marshalltown Public Library.
