Teen Book Club

Come discuss any books you’ve been reading lately, get some recommendations and take home a free book. Drinks and snacks will be provided! Grades: 7-12

Art Quest
Monday, Jul. 24, 4:00 - 5:00 pm
Origami Yoda - in this class we will be doing origami art from the book series. In our Art Quest classes, you'll learn about famous artists and their techniques. Each class features a different medium such as paint, watercolor, or chalk pastel to create a project based on the artist we’re studying. Grades: 4-6. Registration requested.
Raspberry Pi Project

Get an overview of the various things you can make using Raspberry Pi and then bring some supplies and create something. Ages: Adult

Color by Design

Use markers or colored pencils to fill in intricate coloring pages while enjoying snacks and music. All supplies and snacks will be provided. Grades: 5-8. Registration requested.
Preschool Science St

Preschool Science Storytime is designed to help with Kindergarten readiness. With a focus on math, colors, and simple science, parents (or caregivers) will actively participate with their child in this fun program. Ages: 3-5

Techno Time
Wednesday, Jul. 26, 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm
Kids are invited to learn a different tech tool with the Morton Public Library’s Tech guy, Kevin. Grades: 3-6. Registration requested.
Rhythm & Rhyme Story
Thursday, Jul. 27, 10:30 am (Four sessions: July 6, 13, 20, 27 at 10:30 am)
Children will enjoy stories, songs, finger-plays, and instruments. This program helps children to meet new friends and gain independence. Meets every Thursday in July. Ages: 3-5. Registration required.
Recycled Book Art -

Come climb into a fire truck and an ambulance and learn a little about fire safety and what it is like to be a firefighter. Don’t forget your camera! Ages: Everyone!
Groove in the Garden

Performance by Brazillionaires. The Brazilionaires sound is an infectious blend of richly textured sambas & bossa novas, each track built with hypnotic Latin grooves. The band has been described as being a unique fusion of jazz, Brazilian samba, and retro lounge. Fronted by vocalist Dove Benoit and guitarist Rico Johnson, the band is backed by a stellar cast of musicians which include horns, bass, drums, and percussion. Everyone welcome!

Lego Club

Children will share their building skills in a small group setting. A sample project is presented, however, participants are encouraged to use their own creativity. Meets the first & third Mondays of the month. Ages: 6-12.
