Practice your language skills to talk and grow together! Meet new people and learn English in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. This supports all conversational English levels. 
Farm Friends & Books

Read to a rescued small farm friend from Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary! Meet an animal you may not interact with or see regularly like a duck, chicken, or turkey, and practice reading in a relaxed and judgment-free environment. Each meeting will be on the 1st Friday of the month at 3:30 pm. All ages are welcome to this free program.  Sponsored by Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary.
Author Visit with Be
Saturday, May 4, 10:30-11:30 am
We are pleased to welcome author, Betsy Schwarzentraub as she presents, "Spiritual Readings to Get Through the Tough Times." The Tossed in Time Expanded Edition introduces people to the ancient Christian seasons to help them find their personal bearings in the midst of the social disruptions of recent years. It gives a new rhythm to begin again, with down-to-earth themes, reflective questions, and interactive workshop ideas. Experience each season with family, home school, church, or Christian school. Line drawings remind us that Jesus is as accessible to us now as back in biblical days. Light refreshments will be provided. All ages are welcome to this free program!
Legos & Listen
Tuesday, May 7, 3:30-4:30 pm
Join us on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month as we build with Legos and listen to an audiobook. This is a great way to use fine motor skills, creativity,and learn to share, as well as hone listening skills.

Crime Lab Chemistry
Wednesday, May 8, 3:30-4:30 pm
Who stole Lana Lava's sweater?! Who is the culprit that left the ransom note? Students will become forensic detectives and scientists to solve a crime. Students will use the scientific method of observation, hypothesis, prediction, test/experiment, and conclusion. Taught by Great Valley Museum, and is recommended for 3rd-5th grade, but older children may attend. Registration is required as space is limited.

Playtime at the Libr

Playtime is an unstructured time to play with toys and make new friends! Come and go as you please for this informal program. Playing teaches children how to think, imagine, express themselves, and problem solve. One-on-one play with a trusted adult and peers fosters relationships and builds literacy skills. This free program is for ages 2-5 and their caregivers. 

Tween Anime & Manga
Tuesday, May 14, 3:30-4:30 pm
We'll chat about all things manga, watch some anime on Crunchyroll, and make a craft. Snacks are included in this free program just for tweens ages 8-12 years old.
