All Abilities Chair
All Abilities Chair Exercise: Mind, Body, Soul Series
Monday, Sep. 25, 9:00am - 10:00am
In this All Abilities exercise class for adults, participants enjoy 100% gentle stretching and yoga-based poses, all from the comfort of a chair.  Besides receiving the cardiovascular, conditioning, strength and flexibility benefits, students are led through a variety of self-care concepts and techniques.

Mah-Jongg
Mah-Jongg
Wednesday, Sep. 27, 1:00pm-4:00pm
Mah-jongg is played with four players using tiles stamped with Chinese symbols. The goal of the game is to be the first to match your tiles to a specific hand from the National Mah Jongg League's (NMJL) annually distributed scorecard by picking and discarding. It’s rather like the card game Gin Rummy – only faster!

Find out more about the Texas Master Gardener program and get answers to your gardening questions about plant varieties, tree advice and winter plantings. Hays County Master Gardeners are a part of the state-wide Texas Master Gardener Volunteer Program. Each certified Master Gardener completes fifty hours of formal training and fifty hours of volunteer service during their training.
Are you interested in participating in the Master Gardener program?  Ask the gardeners about it.  New sessions are starting soon and they will be happy to share the details.

Knit One, Read Too, the Library’s Knitting Group
Wednesday, Oct. 4, 4:30pm-6:00pm
Instructors from The Sated Sheep will be here to help you discover knitting, get started, solve knitting problems, and show you how to turn a skein of yarn into something beautiful!  Stay the whole time or come when you can.   Bring a friend or make some new ones. A selection of yarn and knitting needles provided!
To best ensure their safety and enjoyment, children under the age of ten should be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
