The KPL book discussion meets during the school year, with the exception of the month of December.  The current book selection can be found on the library's website.  New selections are announced at the discussion.  Patrons can choose between the Monday night meeting at 7 pm and the Tuesday afternoon meeting at 1 pm.  All interested readers are welcome!

Reminisce is for individuals with mild to severe memory loss or dementia.  Reminisce awakens memories through historical objects to engage minds and recall memories from the past.  Alzheimer's trained staff from RCS Empowers Encore program will facilitate all of the events.  Participants will meet in the lower level of the Community Center.

Join Dare to Dream Theatre Artistic Director Rachel Thuermer in this workshop designed to engage toddlers through creative play. For kids 18 months to 5 years. Held the Third Monday of every month, from February-May.

Together we will:
- Explore the 5 elements of early literacy
- Jump into the story through a Story Drama format created by Seattle Children's Theater
- Create artwork inspired by the book selected for the month
- Meet characters from literature
- Explore elements of Theater for the Very Young Experiences currently in development for Dare to Dream Theatre
- Begin to explore elements of dramatic presentation and storytelling
- Create our own stories together

We can't wait to bring joy to your toddler through theatrical exploration!
