Tails of Joy, Inc. is bringing their "Story Tails" R.E.A.D. teams to the library! The R.E.A.D. Program is dedicated to improving the reading skills of children using registered pet partner therapy dogs as mentors. Children must be able to read on their own to participate. END-OF-SUMMER-READING-PROGRAM PARTY! Thursday, Aug 12, 2:30 PM Celebrate the end of the summer reading program! Food, fun, and a popcorn machine for fresh popcorn! The Grand Prize Raffle winner will also be picked (you don't have to be present to win the Grand Prize Raffle). Food and beverage donations are welcome. Registration is required and begins July 29. Children who have earned a FREE book (12 hours of reading) can choose one at the party (they must show us their Reading Log to qualify for their free book). They can also choose one at the library through Sept. 4.
