Celebrate local talent at the Library's Local Author Fair!

Join us outside on the library portico for an inspiring morning with local authors. This event is a wonderful opportunity for community members to connect with authors, discover their fascinating works, and hear their journeys to becoming published.

You’ll find a delightful mix of books available for purchase and signing, including children, teen, and adult titles.

Join us for a day when kids ages 10 – 17 can sell their crafts on the Modesto Library Portico! Kids and Teens will learn about pricing, advertising, customer service, handling money, and other aspects of running a small business.

Space for crafters is limited! The pre-registration list opens on Sept. 1, and crafters must pre-register by Sept. 30.
Family members or a small number of friends may participate together if they choose, but each crafter must register individually. 
A responsible adult must accompany children under 14 and remain present during the craft fair.
