Wendy Thompson is back to answer the biggest question in the college admissions process: “How do colleges really choose students?” From 6:30-7:30PM, high school students and their parents are invited to an informative, interactive, and entertaining presentation to help families understand the role essays, interviews, extracurricular activities, sports, and other factors play in the admissions decisions colleges make.
Wendy served on the admissions staff at Bowdoin College from 2000-2012, where she evaluated thousands of applications. Her college and independent school admissions career spans thirty years. She conducts college planning workshops and has helped students navigate the college search and selection process since 2003.
