Calling all Evanovich Fans

It was bound to happen. Evanovich's One for the Money is slated to hit the big screen. But wait! According to the article I'm reading at New York Daily News, One for the Money was snatched up by Columbia Tristar before the book even hit the shelves in 1994. More interesting may be who will play the leading lady, Stephanie Plum, the bounty hunter with attitude. The choice is bound to cause lots of talk amongst Plum fans. Reese Witherspoon was rumored for the role but it was not meant to be. See if you agree with the choice by reading this article at

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/movies/2010/02/09/2010-02-09_katherine_heigl_to_play_stephanie_plum_in_one_for_the_money_janet_evanovich_best.html

What do you think??? Good casting or not?

For Evanovich fans, the 20th Stephanie Plum book, Sizzling Sixteen hits the stands on June 22nd.

I stopped reading the series several books ago...they just kept getting sillier and sillier until I was both unwilling and unable to suspend my disbelief. I did, however, enjoy the initial books in the series. I would have liked to see a "feistier" actress for the character of Stephanie Plum...I think Sandra Bullock or even Jennifer Anniston could make the character of Stephanie really "pop." I am even more interested to discover who will play the parts of Joe and Ranger...many female readers have their own very definite opinions and mental pictures of these two characters. I don't know if any actor could live up to our imaginations!

I can always count on you bas bleu. Hmmm, I like Sandra Bullock much better than Reese! I'm truly not familiar enough with the characters to cast them. I have trouble with series fiction as there's so much other stuff to read. I think when I retire I might read the whole Jack Reacher and Harry Bosch though. Those two characters have always intrigued me.
