Speaking Volumes

Drop Everything Everybody Read! Today we celebrated reading AND good weather at the library! We had a nice crowd of patrons join us on our front lawn as we ate some lunch, talked about books, and of course, got in some quality reading time. Our library faces a busy street and we got a lot of attention from passerby’s looking at our deer and at the crowd on the lawn. It was a little noisy out there, but as Carol put it, the beauty of a great book is that it can take you away so completely that you don’t even notice the noise around you.
