Library Lovers
I love the library, because I have always loved the library! Visiting it today, reminds me of walking to the library when I was growing up. I like it today & I like the warm and happy memories it brings. As a junior high and high school student, I volunteered in the school library. I respect and admire the Dewey Decimal system!

Library Lovers
I take my sons to the library, we visit the Batavia branch the most. We love utilizing the library's resources, its a wonderful part of the community. The boys head straight to the children's area to pick out books, dvds, and also to play with the toys and blocks. Thank you for making our library such a wonderful place!

In my opinion, our local library is one of the friendliest and most fun places around! I visit the Miami Township Branch weekly, and I look forward to each visit with enthusiasm and anticipation. The library has such a nice selection of materials, but if I want something the branch does not carry, the staff will work tirelessly to track down the desired information. When we moved to Milford from out of state several years ago, one of the first friends I met was Marlene the librarian. Knowing very few and having two small children, Marlene was such a lifesaver at the time. She was a welcoming and familiar face in what was otherwise often a lonely week. The library and its staff has so much to offer. From reading materials, movies and documentaries, internet, and friendly faces, the library will definitely give everyone something to love.

Library Lovers
The staff of CCPL is very friendly and helpful. The library is not so big that you feel lost and not so small that you feel that there is not a very good selection of books. I love the fact that if your branch does not have a book that you are looking for you can easily order it from another branch or source. When I was a Freshmen in High School I read a book called God Is My Copilot for a book report. I liked the book so much that I wanted to read it again but they did not have it at the library. I inquired about the book and they checked for me and it was not at any of the other branches but they found it for me from another source and ordered it in. I also love the fact that you have the biggest selection of l arge print books. I have trouble reading small print and with the large print I do not have to squint anymore and can still have the enjoyment of reading a good book.

With an apology to all poets....
The month of February Can be awfully scary
Filled with snow, ice and sleet
Frozen face, hands and feet.
It’s so hard to stay warm
Or even dream of the charm
Of a lush early spring
Chirping birds on the wing.
But the Public Library Is a really good fairy!
She brings life to the room
As she drives off the gloom.
So generous with herself-
Offerings on every shelf.
With one come-hither look
Wow! I'm reading a book!
Soon I’m lost in the heat
Of a southern retreat.
Now the world’s bright and sunny A
nd magically funny.
Sometimes it’s mysterious
Or factually serious
I am transported away
From this cold dreary day.
Yippee yee, yippee yay!

Library Lovers
Our family is new to the area, and we've been pleasantly surprised by the services and books/movies available to us at our Milford branch! I am eager to start the literacy kits with our 2 year old. We are also learning to use the online features of the library, and they are great too! I love the "2009 book favorites" compiled by library staff members. We LOVE the library!!!

Library Lovers
There are many reason why I love the library here are just a few. It is a place to bring the kids that is quiet, respectful, and kid friendly. I love reading and they have a great selection of books and if they don't have one they do what it takes to get one. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff at the Union Twp. branch are awesome. They make the library a place my family and I look forward to going to quite often. They are hard working and go out of their way to be helpful. They are also extremely friendly, if there ever having a bad day, you would never know it. I wish we received that kind of service everywhere we went!
