Women 40 years or older, who have not had a mammogram within the past 12 months are welcome to schedule a free mammogram by calling 731-3346.

The Owensville branch and the Union Township branch have programs scheduled for the Reading to Dogs project for elementary students. Reading to a therapy dog has shown to reduce anxiety and make reading easier for kids.

Owensville has times available on January 6 and February 3, 2007 between 11 a.m. and Noon. You may register by calling or visiting the Owensville branch.

A Gingerbread House competition held at the New Richmond branch of the Clermont County Public Library on December 2, 2006 inspired many creative entries. Top photo is the winner and the bottom photo is one of the most unusual and creative entries received. The Friends of the Clermont County Public Library provided prizes for the top three entries.

CCPL and UC Clermont College are offering a six week series Looking at Jazz to be held at Krueger Auditorium on the UC Clermont College campus. The public is invited at attend the series which will be held on Thursday nights from January 11 - February 15 starting at 6:30 p.m. - 9:10 p.m. UC Clermont College is offering this series as a credited course. The credited class final exam will be given on March 15.
