Did you know that two of our local supermarket chains have charitable donation programs? Both Redner's and Boyer's give periodic donations to non-profit organizations registered with their programs. At Redner's, you can sign up your favorite organization and then save register receipts. When you hand the receipts in, they tally what's been spent and make a donation to the organization based on the amount. Boyer's does much the same thing, but by means of a small barcoded tag which you can put on your keychain. When you shop at Boyer's, they scan the tag at the checkout and make donations to your chosen organization based on the dollar amount recorded. These programs are easy to use and help businesses to support those organizations which their customers feel are worthwhile. The Frackville Free Public Library is registered for both of these programs. If you shop at Redner's or Boyer's, and would like to help the library in this way, please stop in, call us at 874-3382, or contact us via our website,
