What book did you just love?

Is there a book that you read recently that you just loved? If so, we want to know what it is. In honor of Valentine's Day, the Bookmobile will be decorated with paper hearts with the titles of books that customers loved.  Come on board now through the end of February and let us know what book you loved, see what others have read and loved and have a Valentine treat.

For a schedule of Bookmobile stops, go to http://www.monterey.org/library/libmobil.html

The book I am in love with now is Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan. I love it because it is informative and tells you about what your food choices mean to the world and your community. I think it's a well-written piece of investigative journalism and everyone should read it. I also like the Stone Diaries - it is a very subtle and beautiful book that I read and then think about a lot.

EAT, PRAY, LOVE... a woman's journey to discover pleasure, devotion, and love...a nice read.

I really enjoyed Steve Martin's autobiography, Born standing up. It is especially entertaining as an audio book.

I really loved Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver. A beautiful story of 3 women whose lives are connected even though they dont know it. I wish this story would never end.
