Teen Book Club
The Canton Public Library has launched its newly formed Teen Book Club.  The next meeting will be held on Monday, November 15, at 3:00 PM, the group will discuss Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series.  The November selection will help Harry Potter fans anticipate the release of the first part of the movie version of Deathly Hallows on November 19.

In December, the group will meet on Saturday, December 18 at 10:30 AM.  The December meeting will feature the reading of a play or an excerpt from a play, and no reading or preparation beforehand is required.

The book club is open to students in grades 9-12 and future titles for the Teen Book Club’s selections will be made with the participation of club attendees.

The Canton Public Library Teen Book Club is one step in many as the library expands its programming and services for teens, a priority set by the board of trustees in its long-range plan.  The teen area in the library has been completely reorganized and redecorated within the last few months, expanding the space and making the area more inviting.

The Canton Public Library Teen Book Club is free.  Registration for the discussion is requested.  Copies of the book are available at the library.  Canton Public Library is at 40 Dyer Avenue, Canton.  For information:  (860) 693-5800
