Beginning today, Friday, February 10, Wright Library will be selling off our collections of VHS videotapes, books on cassette, and CD-ROM computer programs. The sale will take place out of the AV Room and will run during library hours through March 4th.

Individual membership is $6 and Family membership is $12, with discounted memberships for Seniors ($5) and Students ($1). The Friends of the Wright Library promotes use of the Library and fosters public support for Library services. Show your support for Wright Library -- join today! Friends of the Wright Library on Tuesday, August 24 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you are not currently a Friends member, you can sign up in-person anytime the library is open, or you can download this form and mail it to the Friends of the Wright Library. You may also join at the door on preview night.
Preview night prices will be two dollars for hardback books and one dollar for all other items. During regular sale hours, hardback books will be one dollar each, and all other items will be fifty cents each. Sunday will be Bargain Book Day; a bag full of books will be $2 all day. The sale will take place in the Library Meeting Room. Many of the books are donated, while some are old library copies that are no longer needed. There will be thousands of books and audiovisual materials on all kinds of subjects for both adults and children. New items will be put out every day. Proceeds benefit the library.

The Friends of the Wright Library are a group of loyal patrons who help the library as advocates and volunteers. They benefit the library by working on such projects as the annual book sale and holiday decorating. Friends are also called upon to contact legislators in support of libraries and to be advocates for Wright Library in the community. If you love the library, please become a Friend!
