We have done previous posts on job hunting resources (here and here) but, we would like to bring your attention to another: Ohio Means Jobs. Aimed at bringing Ohio employers and job seekers together, this service also aggregates national job boards, which lets you search numerous boards at once. In addition, the site allows you to create and post your resume. Below is a slide presentation that offers instructions on how to use the Ohio Means Jobs site.
The Library also makes available the tools from Learning ExpressLibrary which can help develop a variety of job seeking skills. You will find these tools under the Job Search and Workplace Skills heading. They cover the writing of resumes and cover letters, interviewing, and general career and job skills. To access this resource, you may be asked for your library card number or zip code.
