Story Circles: Life on a Farm
Wednesday, August 12 11:00 AM
Story Circles are a time for people of all ages to recall memories, reminisce and share history and life experiences orally. Share forgotten details with your peers or bring history to life for a younger generation. Come share your story and listen to others share theirs. This month’s topic: Life on the farm—Did you grow up on a farm? Ever visit a farm? Have relatives that lived on a farm? What do you remember most about the farm? What was your favorite part of being on the farm? What was your least favorite part of being on the farm? Story Circles will be held once a month in the Community Room of the library and last for approximately 1 hour. Meetings will be informal and light refreshments will be served. People of all ages are invited to attend. Parents may bring children as long as the children are able to sit quietly and listen for an hour. If you have questions or would like to find out more about this program please call the reference desk at 793-7114.
