Story Circles are a time for people of all ages to recall memories, reminisce and share history and life experiences orally. Share forgotten details with your peers or bring history to life for a younger generation. Come share your story and listen to others share theirs.
This month’s topic: War and the Homefront-- What did you do to help the war effort? Did you grow a victory garden or buy war bonds? What kinds of things did you or your family give up during the war? Did you or a family member serve in any of the wars? For you what was the most memorable event of the war?
Story Circles will be held once a month in the Community Room of the library and last for approximately 1 hour. Meetings will be informal and light refreshments will be served. People of all ages are invited to attend. Parents may bring children as long as the children are able to sit quietly and listen for an hour.
Groups will be limited to 15 participants at a time so please pre-register by calling the library reference desk (793-7114) to sign up.
