Mama’s Kitchen
Wednesday, March 18, 11:00 AM
Story Circles are a time for people of all ages to recall memories, reminisce and share history and life experiences orally. Share forgotten details with your peers or bring history to life for a younger generation. Come share your story and listen to others share theirs.
This month’s topic: Mamma’s Kitchen—What is your favorite home-cooked recipe? The most unusual food you ate growing up? Did your family celebrate its cultural heritage with certain foods or recipes? Do have any memorable canning stories?
Story Circles will be held once a month in the Community Room of the library and last for approximately 1 hour. Meetings will be informal and light refreshments will be served. People of all ages are invited to attend. Parents may bring children as long as the children are able to sit quietly and listen for an hour.
Groups will be limited to 15 participants at a time so please pre-register by calling the library reference desk (793-7114) to sign up.
