Thanks to everyone that attended the groundbreaking ceremony and reception!
You can find more pictures of the event
at the Times-Republican's new CU gallery.
Please join us for the Groundbreaking Ceremony
Tomorrow (Friday) at 10:00 a.m., at the new library site.
Afterwards, back at the current library building, join us for refreshments!
Our architect firm's interior designer has come up with these
tentative materials for our main carpeting and desks:
Carpeting:
Circulation and Reference desks:
Youth desk:
The interior designer noted that these are environmentally friendly materials, and that the carpet squares' natural designs (sunrays and bubbles) will make sense within our LEED-certified building.
Please note that these are subject to change, but they at least give us an idea of how the library will look!
