The library construction crew is working to
enclose the new library building in the next couple of weeks! Once the building is enclosed, temporary heat will be used to
thaw the slab floor so that insulating blankets can be removed and the remaining ice and snow can be cleared away. After the interior is dry and ice-free,
framing of the library's interior can proceed.
Many of the project components (light poles, Lennox heating and air-conditioning units, etc.) have already been transported to Marshalltown. They will be ready to go as the building becomes ready to receive them.
