Delta Conveyance Project final EIR released
The California Department of Water Resources has released the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Delta Conveyance Project. The Project involves building a tunnel system to transfer water directly from the Sacramento River to Bethany Reservoir, bypassing the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Notice of Preparation of EIR for CA Waterfix Delta Conveyance
The California Department of Water Resources is initiating the preparation of an environmental impact report for the Delta Conveyance Project involving tunnels known as Waterfix. The new EIR is according to instructions from Governor Newsom regarding reducing Waterfix from two tunnels to one.
Public review lasts through March 20. A list of public scoping meetings is available.

US Dept Interior Releases Draft EIR for Long-Term Water Transfers
The United States Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation has released a draft revised environmental impact report for long-term water transfers to Central Valley Project contractors. MID Notice of Preparation for PEIR
The Modesto Irrigation District has released a Notice of Preparation for a Programmatic Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) concerning their proposed Water Infrastructure Capital Improvements Plan. The Plan will include almost 100 individual projects through 2040. In preparation for the Plan, MID is composing a the PEIR.

NOP EIR for Proposed State Water Project Water Supply Contract Amendments
The California Department of Water Resources has released a Notice of Preparation for the proposed State Water Project Water Supply Amendments for WaterFix. This NOP concerns the environmental impact report for the proposed WaterFix project. A thirty day comment period by the public will end 13 August 2018. There will also be 1 scoping meeting in Sacramento.

7th Street Bridge Project Environmental Assessment Draft
Caltrans released a draft for the possible repair or replace the 7th Street Bridge to create a structurally and functionally sufficient bridge crossing over the Tuolumne River along the 7th Street corridor. A Draft Environmental Assessment that identifies several alternatives is available for public review and comments until February 28.
