Reading with your Child

Reading aloud with your child is one of the most important things you can do to help your child be successful in school.

JCPL's Parents Page can help you find good books and other resources to help improve your child's literacy skills.

Here are two of my favorite books to share with a child:

The Quiet Book by Deborah Underwood and Renata Liwska

The Loud Book by Deborah Underwood and Renata Liwska

There are many kinds of quiet such as making a wish quiet and too many bubbles quiet. There are lots of kinds of louds too like burping during quiet time loud and fireworks loud. These award winning books are perfect for sharing.

What are some of your favorite books to share with your child?
