Did you know that the National Renewable Energy Lab is headquartered in Golden?  Vice President Biden just stopped in for a visit this last week.  NREL scientists are doing some innovative things with renewable energy including: developing advanced vehicles and fuels, building more reliable wind turbines, and exploring biomass, geothermal, solar and hydrogen energy sources.   The crane they used to build the wind turbine is one of the largest in the world!
