JCPL Teens

And here is one with blue streaks in my hair!

Why did Evergreen Teens vote for blue? I don’t know! But I really liked the way it turned out!

 So…what do I like to do besides dye my hair for Teen Summer Reading? Read – of course! I also like to draw and paint but have trouble finding the time to do this; and I like to go for walks or hikes.

Some trivia about me OR questions my TAB asked me 

• Favorite Teen Book: Currently my favorite is Graceling
• Favorite Teen Book from the past: The Dark is Rising Series by Susan Cooper. This is actually in J Fiction at JCPL, but I have seen it in Teen areas in other places. 
• Favorite all time movie: Amadeus or The Color Purple
• Favorite sport to watch: College Basketball! Rock Chalk Jayhawks! (University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kan.) 
• Favorite sport to do: Is walking a sport? 
• Favorite food to make: anything easy…! 
• Favorite food: Tacos (I think) 
• Places outside the U.S. I would like to go: France and Austria 
• Places I have lived (not necessarily in order): Wichita, Emporia, and Lawrence – all in Kansas; the Denver area – Colorado; the Chicago area – Illinois; San Francisco area – California; Seattle area – Washington
• Do I have a pet? Not currently. I used to have a dog, a Sheltie, and more recently a cat named Riley – Riley the cat now lives with my son.
