Have you ever seen a librarian with purple hair?

Teen Librarians - What color will their hair be in August?

You may be asking yourself why we have posted a picture of the backs of our heads onto this blog. The answer is, we want to have a reminder of what our real hair looks like before we color our hair. That’s right, stodgy teen librarians around the system will be coloring their hair pink, red, blue, purple or green if the teens at their library meet the finisher goal for the Summer Reading Club!

Think of the bright side! Once your hair is colored, teens won't have a hard time finding their teen librarians anymore! That's a plus, right? Oh, and Nikki is definitely the person on the far left, in the first row. Or maybe I should say the further row. Wearing a blue jacket.

Allison is in the blue shirt third from left. Why don't you do it now? That will really inspire the teens and the kids, too! P.S. Teen librarians are not stodgy!

Oh you wise teens have two of us figured out! How clever. Must be because you read so many books. Can you figure out the rest of us? And as for coloring our hair now---no way, you all have to meet your library location's goal first. Good luck!
