Science Saturday - World's Scariest Swimming Pool

Would you swim in this?

The world’s scariest swimming pool has been built at Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao's Holiday Inn. Who knew the Holiday Inn could be so cool? Could we get one of these in Denver? And yes, even though I’m scared of heights, I would definitely swim in this. One swimmer told the CCTV, "I felt as if I was flying in the sky -- I could also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Pudong from here ... it's so cool and wonderful." Check out more pools in the sky here.

The pool extends into the building with only a small portion of it suspended in the air. The pool is 98 feet long by 20 feet wide and 5 feet deep. If you do a google search on World's Scariest Swimming Pool you can read more about it. If I ever make it back to Shanghai, I'm swimming in it!
