JCPL Teens

If so, applications are currently being accepted for the 2012-2013 Youth Leadership Jefferson County (YLJC) class. The application deadline is May 7, 2012. 

YLJC is a creative program designed to advance the leadership potential of high school students in Jefferson County community. Students get a chance to interact with community leaders and institutions, explore career options, experience leadership, network with other students, and broaden their perspectives on community issues. Full day monthly sessions emphasize leadership skills and provide experiences through multiple approaches such as site tours, lecture, small and large group discussion, panels, and hands-on activities.
