Join Summer Reading Club and get a laugh at the Library
The fun begins on June 1 and continues through July 31. Jefferson County Public Library’s Summer Reading Club is a great way to spend the long, hot summer days. The Library offers something for everyone with clubs for kids, teens and adults. Themes and activities for all three Summer Reading Clubs are comedy-related. Our Library staff promises a summer full of laughter and smiles. Making participation even more meaningful is the annual combined reading challenge sponsored by the Library Foundation. This year, if children and teens read 150,000 hours collectively, the Foundation will donate $1,000 to the Victim Services Kids’ Program of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office to purchase new books.
