Support for caregivers looking after those with Alzheimer’s and other illnesses
As the population continues to age, many people are left caring for their elderly parents and grandparents. This can be a confusing and frustrating time for them. Luckily, Jefferson County Public Library is offering a series of free programs for those who are providing care to their ailing family members.

This series, presented by the Mountain Caregivers Resource Group, can help answer your questions about care giving to loved ones. These programs apply to all caregivers, whether your loved ones live locally or miles away. The Alzheimer’s Association will present an education series on Sept. 18, 25 and Oct. 2.

Reservations are helpful but are not required. Call Mt. Evans Hospice and Home Health Care at 303-674-6400 to sign up for one or more dates. All programs are held on Thursdays, 4-5:30 pm, at the Evergreen Library, 5000 Hwy. 73, at Buffalo Park Road.

Future programs include:

Thursday, Oct. 30
Internet resources and support

Thursday, Dec. 4

Thursday, Jan. 22
