The 2008-2009 school year is right around the corner and Jefferson County Public Library’s (JCPL) online resources are available for those beginning-of-the-year projects. You may not know it, but JCPL has many resources available to support college-level research. If you are a student at an area college, you can use our online library to access authoritative content from academic journals as well as magazines and newspapers.

To find a particular journal, newspaper or magazine online, try JCPL’s “Online Magazines and Newspapers” portal. With this tool you can search for a title or browse available full text publications by topic. From the Library homepage, click Research Tools, then Subscription Databases A-Z and then find and click Online Magazines and Newspapers. This resource and many others are available for free, anywhere with internet access, with your JCPL library card.
