What do you think of our subscription databases?
Share your success stories - tell us about how you have used the Library's online resources.

You may have seen information on this blog, in the Library newsletter or at one of our 10 locations about the many uses for JCPL's subscription databases.

We'd like to hear from you. How have you used these online resources? Do you use them in the Library? From home? From school? Please share your success stories. Have you found something surprising or exciting? What did this information allow you to do? Did it help you research your family history? Did you complete a project for school or work? Did you get information about your investments or about a particular company? Did you get help starting or running your business? Were you able to print out a published article or sections from a book? Did you download an audio book to listen to in your car, on the bus or at the gym?

Thanks in advance for writing me back. Information that we learn from you will be used to help make these resources work for you.

I use your databases all the time. I especially like Novelist and Academic Search. My son uses the online dictionaries and encyclopedias too.

I really like the databases and the convenience of looking up info online. However, the computer-related material in the netLibrary is quite dated and therefore limited in its use. This topic needs to be updated constantly as technology renders the invest in books (in this case ebooks) obsolete after two or three years.
