Rain Rain Rain

Rain, rain, rain did you have to stay?

I was going outside to play today.

Until you came and ruined my fun,

I guess I’ll have to wait for the sun.

But do you know what I learned in class?

I learned that rain is good for the grass.

It helps it grow and stay so clean,

That in the morning it is so green.

So, I guess that rain is fine today,

But just not when I’m going to play.
