"Marcelo In The Real World" by Francisco X. Stork

Rating: Excellent! (5)

Marcelo In The Real World by Francisco X. Stork

Marcelo has a form of autism that a best described as close to Asperger's. However, Marcelo feels bad calling it that, since he has things much easier than many with Asperger's. He goes to Paterson, where he can learn at his own pace. All he wants to do is take care of the ponies at Paterson's stable. However, his father thinks he should go to public school for his senior year. He also thinks Marcelo should work in the "real world" at his law firm rather than Paterson. Marcelo agrees to work at the law firm. There he realizes that though it is a challenge to make it in the real world, he can do it. He also, however, realizes that life in the real world isn't always pretty.
I would definitely reccomend this book. This book made me think more about autism, our legal system and life in the real world in general.

Rating: Excellent! (5)

Confessions Of A Murder Suspect by James Patterson

Everyone has secrets but not like Tandy Angel. When her parents died she committed herself to finding out who the murderer was. She finds as much evidence as possible but soon finds that she can't even trust herself or her siblings. Tandy needs to solve the mystery and keep herself in control at all times. To keep the Angel reputation in place. This book is like a classic who-done-it with a dramatic twist.
