Lily B. On The Brink Of Cool by Elizabeth Cody Kimmel

Lily B. is a boring girl, with a boring life, and boring parents. Her best friend is at a summer camp, and she is utterly bored. But when she goes to her (boring) aunt.'s wedding, she finally meets someone interesting. Then the "cool" people do something unforgivable, and Lily believes her life will never be the same.

"The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak

Rating: Excellent! (5)

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

Narrated by Death himself, this book tells a heart-wrenching story of a girl in Germany during World War II. She learns what it means to keep a secret from Hitler and his followers during the Holocaust, and she realizes that love is the greatest gift, and hardship, of all. One of my favorite books; it literally had me it tears!

The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell

Carrie Bradshaw, a senior in high school, vows to stand out and make things happen for her last year at home. However, her emotion-driven self often makes quick decisions that lead to negative consequences. This story entertained me because of Carrie's witty, selfish personality that every teenage girl can relate to!
