Angels and Demons is a prequel to the New York Times Best Seller THE DA VINCI CODE by Dan Brown . This book is about a harvard professor who is trying to save the Vatican City from the Iluminati, an ancient satanic cult. It is full of suspence that keeps you on the edge of your chair until the end. This is one hard book to put down! This book has great ambigrams in it that were created by the Iluminati. It unveals their plan that seams to have hundreds of plans inside of plans. A great plot line that keeps you guessing, but when you think you know what is going to happen it stears in the oppsite direction. Over all, a great thriller, I highly recomend this book, as well as all of Dan Brown's books.
This story is voiced vividly through the charcter Clay Jensen and the cassette tapes that he recieves in the mail. The tapes hold the story of Hannah Baker as she speaks of/to the main people, 13 of them, who played a role in her life that lead to her commiting suicide. A map is with the tapes so those who recieve them can visit the major settings as they listen to her tell her story. This book is written extremely well and you can really get a feel for the characters and how they are feeling. Since the feelings one character experinces lead to suicide you may want to make sure that you have someone or something that can bring you to now. The novel feels very real as you read into it and you feel like you are the one who is listening to the tapes with no way to stop what happeneds, but needing to know just the same. This book can be intense so I hope you aren't disappointed if it isn't all fairytale happy (though I kept hoping for it still), because this is a great book.
This book is about a guy who time travels through time. It is a love story between him and a little girl and as she grows up. It is definitely a must read! The author wrote it so well, it felt like it was actually in real life. Really hard to put down!
The book Picture Perfect by Catherine Clark is definitely a must read this summer. It is a romance book with an unusual twist. The characters that Catherine Clark adds are so easy to relate to, you can't help but fall in love with them. This book is a perfect summer read for lying on the beach, relaxing up north or on plane rides across the country. Readers will crack up at the humor in this book, and won't be able to stop or put the book down.
I love this book so far! I can barely put it down! Everyone should really read this book, it is something that could happen to you. This book is about a girl who has a sister that has cancer and all her life she has donated to keep her alive.
This is the second book of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I am really hooked. This book is action packed and not boring at all. It was hard to put down. In this book a cyclops captured Grover who is a satyr. A satyr is a creature that is half goat and half human. He was captured so the cyclops could eat him. Percy jackson saves him. They also had to find the golden fleece. The golden fleece is an object that helps grow vegetation and helps the animals not get sick. The tree that protects Half Blood Hill needs the fleece to be strong and better protect their living place. On their voyage to find the golden fleese they find the cyclops who is Percy Jackson's half brother. All cyclops are sons of Poseidon so this makes him Percy's half brother. His name is Tyson. Tyson is a good cyclops and agrees to go with Percy to help him on the adventure.
