The Maze Runner is an amazing book. It starts out with Thomas in a metal box. The only thing he can remember about his life is his first name. The box is rising and soon opens up with boys looking down at him. They help him up, and Thomas soon learn where he is. He is in the middle of a giant maze. There are doors on each side of the center that close every night and open every morning. The walls of the maze also shift every night. Night is also when Grievers, half-creature/half-machine monsters come out. The only people in the maze are teenage boys, and a new boy arrives once a month. It makes you wonder what kind of world sends their kids into a giant maze, where there seems to be no escape. I would definitely recommend The Maze Runner.
