The ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opened the exciting, new entrance to the Children's area @
MCPL Wausau, generously funded by the
Wausau Noon Optimists. The artwork for the project was donated by artist Dorie Klassen.
Come and see this exciting new entrance, featuring 6 chidlren's tales on the wall, and of course the yellow brick road from the
Wizard of Oz. Bring your chidlren and walk or skip down the yellow brick pathway to lifelong learning and discovey, all for free @ your public library.
Help us thank the Wausau Noon Optimists and help support their fund-raising efforts. They will be at the
Wisconsin Valley Fair, so visit their stands, buy yourself a pork chop on a stick and an elephant ear, and say thank you Wausau Noon Optimists!

Join us on Tuesday, July 12 for children’s musician,
Randy Peterson @
MCPL Wausau for two shows:
2:00pm and 6:30pm. Randy will be performing @MCPL as part of the
Summer Library Program, One World, Many Stories. Please note: there will
not be a morning performance. An afternoon performance @2:00 pm and an evening performance @ 6:30pm are the correct times. There were some errors on other listings in the community.
Escape the summer heat and come and sing along with Randy. You will not want to miss these free performances, funded by the
Friends of the Library. Bring the whole family, have some fun, and learn some things too. See you there!
If you can’t come to
MCPL Wausau on Tuesday, July 12, Randy Peterson will also be performing @
MCPL Stratford on Wednesday, July 20 @1:30pm.
Keep on reading and learning. The
Summer Library Program is open to all ages.
