Calling All Teen Writers!
Now is your chance to use your talent and WIN!
In celebration of Teen Literature Day on April 17th, we are holding a short story writing contest. The contest will be open to Marathon County students grades 7-12, with prizes being awarded in four categories: winner for grades 7 & 8; winner for grades 9 & 10; winner for grades 11 & 12; and one overall contest winner.
Submissions for the contest should be ten pages or less, include your full name, phone number, current grade and school, and must be received at the Wausau Headquarters library by April 11th or a branch library by April 4th. Prizes will be in the form of gift certificates. You can also submit electronically by emailing a Word document to MCPLTeenZone@gmail.com. All email submissions must be received by April 11th.
We've changed our website to make our online resources and library information more accessible and easier to find. We hope you like the new design! We'll be working to add new features and further improve the site over the next few months. As always, we appreciate your feedback. Just use our online feedback form, or leave your comments below.
