JANUARY 23, 2014
50 years ago today Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play!
Fifty years ago, four cheeky, talented, mop-topped English musicians landed in New York City and the world changed forever. In short order, the Beatles conquered the hearts and minds of many young Americans and Beatlemania swept the country and the world.

On Tuesday February 4, Marathon County Public Library will be celebrating Beatlemania as Lawrence University music instructor Carl Rath presents BEATLES INVASION, a program that charts the early days of the Beatles and their historic journey to America. The program starts at 6:30 and will be held in the Wausau Room (3rd floor) of the library's Wausau Headquarters.

All are welcome. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
