EngagedPatrons founder Glenn Peterson was named the 2008 recipient of the LITA-Gale Brett Butler Entrepreneurship Award. Awarded by the Library & Information Technology section of the American Library Association, the award recognizes "a librarian...who demonstrates exemplary entrepreneurship by providing an innovative product(s) or service, designed to meet the needs of the library world through the skillful and practical application of information technology."
