Spinach and other things that are good for you...
The Alma Spinach Festival is this Saturday, April 21st and you don’t want to miss out on the Alma Public Library’s annual book sale that runs during the festival. There are some great discarded library books, as well as donated books to buy! This festival has got me thinking about Popeye and spinach and what’s available at your local library and online.

Now I Will Never Leave the Dinner Table by Jane Read Martin and Patricia Marx.
When her perfect older sister forces her to remain at the dinner table until she finishes her spinach, a young girl broods about being stuck there forever and devises a plan to get rid of her sister.
MULBERRY – Easy Collection MARTIN

Popeye the Sailor: When Popeye Ruled the World
