If you like the home improvement shows on tv, you will want to go on the Friends of the Library's Historic House Tour on Sunday, October 19. I have gone on it the last three years. What I like is that it is self-guided, so you can go at your own pace and learn as much or as little as you want. One of the houses on last year's tour inspired me to go home and redecorate my daughter's room. This year I'm very excited to be able to go into the old Marsh's Building that has been renovated and Doc Rickett's lab. There are also some beautiful homes to see. There are still tickets available at the Library's checkout desk.
