Every high schooler should read this before graduating. It is the story of Holden Caulfield. He is a young boy, struggling to cope with the contradiction between his own warped, naive reality and the reality of the world around him. He never fully comes to terms with his struggle,but his internal struggle helps readers come to terms with their own reality. A great coming of age story.
