REEL READS!
  Start a new tradition 2008.....read the book before you go see the movie with your family.
  • The Golden Compass (presently playing at local theaters) is the first novel in the  His Dark Materials trilogy by British novelist Phillip Pullman.

 

  •  The Spiderwick Chronicles (movie coming Feb 15, 2008) is an amazing series of illustrated children's fantasy books written by Holly Black and illustrated by Tony DiTerlizzi.

  • Horton Hears A Who (movie coming  March 14, 2008  ) by Dr. Seuss. One day, Horton the elephant hears a cry for help coming from a speck of dust. Even though he can't see anyone on the speck, he decides to help it. As it turns out, the speck of dust is home to the Whos, who live in their city of Whoville.
