Library and Exploration Lab: Check out your local library branch! An indoor retreat where kids can attend free programs, storytimes, or just sit and enjoy a great book. Enjoy our fabulous teen programs as well! Check out the Exploration Lab at the Blake Library in Stuart - It's a playroom filled with educational toys, books, and videos - a great spot to avoid the heat or rain! Bathtub Beach: The beach itself is protected by Bathtub Reef, making this an excellent spot for children to swim and snorkel. Free
Busch Wildlife Sanctuary: A non-profit educational care facility for injured animals. Children can observe native Florida wildlife, endangered species, and animal feedings. Free. Jupiter, FL

REEL READS!
Start a new tradition 2008.....read the book before you go see the movie with your family. - The Golden Compass (presently playing at local theaters) is the first novel in the His Dark Materials trilogy by British novelist Phillip Pullman.
- The Spiderwick Chronicles (movie coming Feb 15, 2008) is an amazing series of illustrated children's fantasy books written by Holly Black and illustrated by Tony DiTerlizzi.
